II’m a artist, composer and researcher from Ukraine, based in The Hague. My work focuses on field recordings, spatial audio, and electroacoustic performance, exploring how urban environments, memory, and sonic ecology intersect through site-specific installations, soundwalks, and collaborative performances. I explore the topic of sound and commemoration, studying how repetetive sound creates space for personal reflection and social bonds.
I’ve presented my projects at Rewire Festival (2024), Sonic Acts Biennial (2024), Composing for Spaces Festival (2023), the Kyiv Biennial (2023), Autour du Fleuve in France (2021), the European Pavilion in Rome (2022), Performance Crossing Festival in Prague (2021), Detali in Ivano-Frankivsk (2020), and Fantazery in Dragobrat (2019). In 2020, I co-released Bubny Voices with Olesia Onykiienko (система | system), and in 2023 contributed to Symposium Musicum, highlighted by Bandcamp as one of the year’s best field recording albums.
I hold a degree from the Royal Conservatoire’s Institute of Sonology, where I now continue my research as an associate.
